City Manager

Julie Arrington has over 25 years of municipal government experience. She began her career as a 911 operator and continued to obtain her education and work herself into the City Secretary’s office. She began her career as a City Secretary in 2004 and obtained her Texas Registered Municipal Clerk Certification in 2016. In 2018 and while obtaining her Master’s degree, Julie worked with the City of Corinth as the Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.

Although she feels her greatest achievement is her three children and four grandchildren; she does have a few educational achievements. These include an Associate’s degree in Legal Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration with a minor in Emergency Management and a Master Degree in Public Administration. She also holds a Certificate in Financial Management.

Julie comes from the Northern DFW Metroplex area where it is a nice mix of country and suburban lifestyles. She graduated from RL Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas and attended the University of North Texas in Denton and the University of Texas at Arlington.

On the personal side, she has many relatives in the far Northeastern Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma regions. She enjoys the outdoors; hiking, fishing, camping, shooting, riding her ATV, as well as inside activities such as roller skating, darts, movies, and shopping.
